Katherine, the founder of SUKHA Yoga & Wellness, was influenced by her mother, who was also a yoga teacher. She took her first yoga class in 2001. Years of practice and teaching have granted her a border perspective in offering effective and personalised training to her students. She taught at different yoga centres, clubhouses, corporates, and privates; and has students of all age range. Katherine has acquired in-depth knowledge in providing all levels and categories of training, including stretching, strength building, and better awareness.
While asanas may be the reason why yoga has been drawn to many people, Katherine insisted on including a session of meditation practice in her yoga class. In the hope of letting her students acknowledge and experience the significance of mental awareness and to maintain the inseparable link between meditation and asana practice.

Started practicing yoga in 2014 to rehabilitate a back injury and to balance her hectic corporate work life, Melody has experienced not only a physical transformation, but also a gain in mental strength and overall wellness.
The yearning for more knowledge of yoga led to her first 200-hour teacher training in 2015, followed by further trainings including Yin Yoga, Mindful Birth (pre & postnatal yoga) and Antigravity Fitness.
Believing yoga is for everyone, Melody aspires to share an accessible practice with an open mind that respect differences and with compassion to understand limitations, while at the same time making students feel encouraged to bring out their best.
Through the practice of yoga, she hopes to influence more people to discover their inner strength and achieve a union of body, mind and soul.
Nicole had her first yoga class in late 2017. She found peace and calmness in the hectic city life with consistent yoga practice.
In 2019, she had a traffic accident, and it gave her a hard time to start yoga again. However, this experience helped her realize yoga is not just about the asana movement. It is the mindset that matters. Having a second chance to experience being a complete yoga beginner, she becomes more determined to take the RYT200 training. She feels blissful in the journey. The incident helped Nicole to understand how beginners struggle when first doing yoga, the possible obstacles they face, as well as their needs. She is hoping to ease off their frustration by tailoring and preparing her class best for the novice.
Through yoga practice, Nicole would love to share happiness and assist people in unfolding their inner power source of light.
Starting a regular basis of yoga practice since 2018, Yonex has always enjoyed the bliss and joy yoga brings into her life. It also inspires her to spread the positivity and its influence on people who may be interested in knowing more about yoga practice.
As a dedicated and passionate practitioner of yoga, yoga means so much more than a sport to Yonex. It is also a practice to condition her mind, and a training that she adheres to for strengthening her physical health and mental health. She started yoga with the sole intention to improve her flexibility and strength, little did she know how a consistent yoga practice actually benefits her whole- person development. To Yonex, yoga will never be restricted by anything- not your age, not the years of practice, and certainly not the capability of your body. It is her hope to manifest the positive energy to all her students on the mats.
Yonex strongly believes that the physical postures are closely connected to the spiritual mind of a person, and the effects are always mutual. It is also her intention in assisting other’s yoga practice- to help them connect the mind and body through assistance of the physical movements, and to achieve a better wellness as a whole.
Hayley first started stepped onto the yoga mat in 2017 after university. She has never been a flexible and strong person and came to yoga simply for the sake of finding inner peace during the practice. However, throughout her yoga journey, she has known more about her own body by listening to it in every single practice. Yoga not only helps her in gaining physical strength but also self-awareness, patience, and persistence.
Wanting to deepen her practice and knowledge of yoga, she joined the yoga teacher training with Katherine Lee. Katherine has inspired her with the real meaning of yoga and the ways to share her practice with other yoga practitioners. Hayley’s teaching focuses on physical and mental strength and assists students to unify their bodies, mind, and soul.
Ridley has been committed to her yoga and aerial practice since 2018. Through yoga, she is able to find focus amidst distractions and the calm within the chaos. She is also an enthusiast in aerial art which she believes is one of the most uplifting and empowering forms of art.
Ridley likes to think that to serve and to heal as her life purpose, and her favourite quote is 'we are just walking each other home'.
Meko began her yoga journey in 2019. With more than 10 years contemporary dance experience, she wanted to try something different. At the beginning, she only attended yoga classes for fun. Soon, she gained her flexibility and strength little by little through continuous practices. Practicing yoga not only benefits her physically, it is also an outlet from her stressful work. In order to deepen her knowledge of yoga, she decided to challenge herself and participate in the RYT 200 training.
Besides practicing yoga, Meko is also an aerial lover. Among all the apparatus: aerial hammock, hoop and silk that she’s been doing, she loves hammock the most and she completed a 30-Hour Aerial Hammock Teacher Training in 2020.
Meko’s classes are fun and dynamic. She hopes to guide her students in cultivating an awareness of their own bodies that would serve them both physically and mentally.
